What does it look like to start with us?
Step 1: Drop in for free!
Come in, check out the space, and join us for a free workout guaranteed to get you sweating. If you’re not familiar with the movements, don’t worry — all of our workouts can be adjusted for beginners.DAY1
Step 2: Meet with a Coach
Chat with one of our professionally trained coaches to learn about our programs and what it takes to attack your goals.DAY2
Step 3: Work on the Basics
Your coach will lead you through a series of foundational workouts so you can move safely in group classes.DAY3
Step 4: Find a plan that works for you!
After Fundamentals, you’ll feel confident to join classes that fit your schedule. Most new athletes start with 2-3 classes per week. The important thing is to be consistent, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for you!DAY4
What will my first time in your gym be like?
Your first time in, we want you to feel comfortable. One of our awesome coaches will give you a tour of the facilities, we’ll sit down with you and walk through your goals, we’ll do a quick fitness assessment with you, and we’ll walk through what you can expect.
Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?
We know you may have a lot of choices on where to workout. What’s best… A treadmill at home? The gym down the street that is $15/month? We’d actually encourage you to ask a different question. What are your goals?

What’s your drop-in policy?
We love nothing more than having visitors from other gyms come “throw down” with us!
If you are just passing through, we charge a drop in fee of $20 per day.
It’d be great if you’d plan on arriving 15 minutes before scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign and introduce you to our box. You can find our class schedule Here.
You may find that we do things a little differently than your “gym back home.” We hope that you enjoy the change in scenery, clientele, maybe even music. If anything makes you uncomfortable, however, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
How often do you recommend I come to the gym?
If you’re just starting up, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks, then build to four, then five. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.
I’m not in very good shape… can I train at PowerAthlete?
The very first thing you will discover is that PowerAthlete does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, or have just completed your 50th marathon, or are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, or you’re someone training for the Iditarod…We will help you achieve your fitness goals.
One of the things that makes PowerAthlete so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. PowerAthlete bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day are designed for anyone to do them.
Can I do my own thing during class?
For the safety and productivity of everyone at PowerAthlete all sessions are designed and coached by our staff. We can guide you to accomplish any physical goal, let us know we can help!
I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.
If you are experienced Athlete, CrossFitter, Weightlifter, or Strongman, we will give you a complimentary day. If you feel PowerAthlete Centerville is the right gym for you, we’ll get you started in the appropriate training sessions. Please contact us at email@example.com.
Do I need to reserve a spot or contact anyone?
Please use the Schedule to “Enroll”. You will fill out your account information, provide payment, and sign the waiver. We do not turn anyone away. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org or complete the “Contact Form” if you have any questions.
