About Jessica

When I was younger I played soccer until 7th grade. I then focused on sideline and competitive competition cheer. I cheered all through middle and high school and I loved it! My junior year in high school I started working out at Power Athlete and the rest is history! I landed a job here my freshman year of college and I have been working here since. Power Athlete helped me find my way in college and in life in general. At Wright State I started off in nursing, switched to Early Childhood Education, then finally ended in Sports Science. I am beyond happy with my decision and I love what I do and the people who helped me get where I am today. I couldn’t have done any of it without Paul and Milissa. They helped me find my way and taught me everything they know and I now know.

Motivation & Passion

My purpose of coaching is help athletes understand how or why their workout applies to their sport. Sometimes athletes don’t see the whole picture. I am here to make them an overall solid athlete and teach them proper form so they do not get hurt in season. Seeing kids realize they are improving in speed or strength makes my whole day. When athletes finally achieve something they’ve been working so hard for, that’s when I know this is the profession for me. I love every single one of my athletes and I want the absolute best for them. I want them to be confident within their sport and have them return healthy. I am one of their biggest supporters even when I seem “mean” during a workout. I am “mean” to protect them.
